I'm not really worried about the rankings, but I suddenly noticed I'm at 99th place. When I first checked, I was around the 70s... The funny thing is, even though my rank is higher, I'm writing a lot more on X than before, but my yap isn't going up, so my rank is gradually slipping down. Has my yap gone up at all, even though I'm on the leaderboard? Right now, none of the projects I'm yapping about are even in the rankings, haha. Am I being too greedy? I'm only yapping about Surf and Sonic. They're not even projects that many people are into. These days, after work, I'm busy looking for materials to write and drafting posts to yap, but since there's no output, I'm starting to feel mentally drained. Just a few weeks ago, I was comforting myself by saying, 'I'm a slow starter,' but now I'm starting to think that was all nonsense and that I'm just not yapping well. I think my biggest problem is that I'm not communicating with Korean yapper accounts. It seems like the best strategy for small accounts is to engage with Korean yapper folks through infinite mutual follows and communication. When I first started yapping, I didn't want to do this. Because: - While yapping, I didn't want to attach keywords and tags to everyday posts. - Articles analyzing projects were just GPT summaries copied and pasted. - Even for news that clearly deserves criticism, there was endless positivity and praise. - Everyone was tagging each other endlessly in a citation train. I thought these behaviors would actually lower the quality of the account and have a negative effect on personal branding in the long run. But it turns out that what I thought was wrong was actually the answer... I really feel that if there's no immediate engagement, I can't do anything. If I focus on posting about @Azuki / $Anime, I can raise my yap, but What I need right now is to gain people's attention and get on the leaderboard to earn from yapping. I think it's time for me to acknowledge that I was wrong and make a change. I'm just frustrated, so I wrote this down.
