The Polkadot Blockchain Academy will host Governance for New Leadership in Bali from September 7 to 14, 2025.
➜ This is a one-week, on-campus program designed for senior leaders, government officials, regulators, and others shaping decisions around technology and governance.
The aim is to bridge blockchain technology with practical, actionable policy. Participants will learn to:
⚪ Understand blockchain fundamentals at a practical level.
🟣 Evaluate public-sector use cases, from digital IDs and voting systems to CBDCs and transparent procurement.
⚪ Explore real implementations such as blockchain banking for the unbanked, land registry modernization, and cross-border collaboration via shared ledgers.
🟣 Engage in debates on regulation, digital assets, data privacy, and cross-jurisdictional governance.
⚪ Work collaboratively to design mock policy guidelines and governance models.
The program combines workshops, live case studies, group design sessions, and peer-to-peer discussions with blockchain pioneers.
The focus is on practical frameworks and insights, ensuring participants leave with tools they can apply within their organizations.
